Shortly after longtime White House Physician Dr. Ronny Jackson indicated Tuesday that President Donald Trump was fit for office and very healthy, CNN immediately began peddling conspiracy theories questioning Jackson’s assessment.
That wasn’t the worst part, as CNN had an entire segment where they allowed their network’s doctor – who has never evaluated Trump in person as it is required – peddle the theory that the president will have a heart attack in three to five years.
During a segment on CNN, host Alisyn Camerota and medical analyst Sanji Gupta declared Trump to be “borderline obese” and predicted he would have a heart attack in “3-5 years” because of Trump’s calcium score.
Having never medically evaluated or assessed him in a professional setting, Gupta groundlessly suggested that Trump has a heart disease.
Visibly holding back laughing at that sickening assessment, Camerota then said Trump has lied about his height because Jackson’s exam found him to be 6’3, but she has “heard” he was “6’2 in the past.”
“Somehow he has grown while being in the White House,” she snarked, unimpeded by how embarrassing the entire segment was.
She then began discussing Trump’s weight of 239 lbs., saying that she valued his Body Mass Index at “two-nine point nine.”
Gupta admitted that a person’s BMI ratio is “not a perfect ratio by any means,” but that didn’t prevent him from declaring Trump to be “borderline obese.”
“So he’s point-one away from being in the obese category,” Camerota said.
“So the president has heart disease,” Gupta declared without an inch of push back for pushing such a sick, vile, and utterly baseless theory.
Watch the ridiculous segment below:
During his hour-long briefing, Jackson made it clear that Trump is “exceptionally healthy,” passed his cognitive test with a “perfect score,” and has “incredible genes.”
Jackson, who also medically oversaw and advised former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, said Trump got a perfect score of 30/30 on his cognitive test, proving he’s likely more mentally fit than many of the reporters who scream and throw temper tantrums every day.
Running live segments where arm-chair doctors are claiming Trump has a heart disease is argubaly the most dangerous thing CNN has ever done – and that speaks volumes.
This is CNN, apparently.
