Wolff claims Haley ’embraced’ story of affair with Trump — her response says it all

Not long after liberal author Michael Wolff groundlessly claimed that Nikki Haley was having an affair with President Donald Trump, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations absolutely torched him for making such a vile claim.

In his book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” he claims that he’s “absolutely sure” that Haley “embraced” having an affair with Trump to further her career.

The remark is an insult to the both Trump and Haley family, and she hit back hard with her response to Wolff’s utterly disgraceful allegation.

“It is absolutely not true,” Haley said, in part. “I have literally been on Air Force One once, and there were several people in the room when I was there. He says that I’ve been talking a lot with the president in the Oval about my political future. I’ve never talked once to the president about my future, and I am never alone with him.”

She continued:

“So the idea that these things come out, that’s a problem. But it goes to a bigger issue that we need to always be conscious of: At every point in my life, I’ve noticed that if you speak your mind and you’re strong about it and you say what you believe, there is a small percentage of people that resent that and the way they deal with it is to try and throw arrows, lies or not.”

Not long after Haley strongly condemned the story and made it clear it was completely false, Wolff doubled down on his affair claim.

During an interview with theSkimm, Wolff was asked about Haley vehemently denying the claim. From there, he took his remarks one step further.

“Or she seems to me, I would say. She seems to have embraced it,” Wolff said.

When pressed for any proof for his claim or why he made it to begin with, Wolff said his statement must be valid because Haley responded to it.

“I don’t know. All she does is hammer on this fact. If I were being accused of something, and I’m not accusing her of anything. She hasn’t tried to avoid this, let’s say. And there is no one. The book doesn’t accuse her. So in effect, some other reporter accused her,” he said.

Many on social media were not happy at all with Wolff’s remarks:

While Wolff continues to make erroneous claims for air-time on liberal network, many of the claims in his book have already been proven to be false. .

As many have noted, the book resembles tabloid gossip that peddles falsehoods. And claiming that Haley is sleeping with the president of the United States to further her own career is arguably the most disgusting and offensive claim the liberal media has come up with since Trump took office.

Thankfully, Haley is a tough woman who isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. And Wolff should think twice about making more comments like this before she has to put him back into his place again.
