ABC’s “The View” co-host Joy Behar melted down over the Country Music Awards avoiding politics, declaring to her far left audience, “we are in an emergency!”

During an episode on Thursday, the panel began discussing the CMA Awards refusing to get political and instead spreading a message of positivity.
This did not sit well with the leftist comedian, who made it clear that she believes the nation is in such turmoil that it can only be saved by Hollywood elitists speaking out at pretentious award shows.
“I think I’m overreacting to this but I believe that everybody should be involved in politics right now,” Behar said. “I really do. I don’t believe that you get a pass just because you’re a performer.”
Behar then claimed that the nation was at a tipping point, suggesting the country music stars had an obligation to trash President Donald Trump.
“My personal belief is that we are in an emergency. The democracy is at risk, and everybody should be speaking up, everybody,” Behar declared, getting visibly animated and worked up.
“I know that if I stayed neutral I would make ten times more money than I earn, to tell the truth, but I make the decision to speak my mind and give my opinion. That’s what I believe should be done,” she added.
Behar’s comments on Thursday, as sad as they were, are par for the course. The liberal comedian has a long history of making controversial remarks, especially about Trump, his supporters, and conservatives.
Earlier this month, Behar claimed Trump is teaching children to be racists and bullies. During that same show, she went on to say that the president is paving the way for another Adolf Hitler.

Prior to that, she said “God forbid” Trump lives for another 20 years, which drew laughter from her leftist crowd.
She has also Trump should be “medicated and hospitalized” because she believes the president is “going to kill all of us.” She was speaking about Trump threatening to use force against North Korea earlier this year.
This is also the same woman who regularly compares Republicans “Nazis,” claimed Trump’s election victory was worse for America than the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, and mocked Vice President Mike Pence and Christians as having a mental disease for having faith in God.
Joy has been anything but joyful since Trump took office, and she is not joyful about celebrities spreading positivity instead of hate.
