Republican State Sen. Elaine Morgan of Rhode Island is calling for a boycott of a local restaurant whose staff members wore t-shirts on election night that featured an “86 45” code.

According to The Westerly Sun, some argue that the pairing of the numbers “86 45” is a call for President Donald Trump to be impeached from office.
But Morgan argues that the code may be far more sinister and chilling than many realize.
“For food it means to get rid of. For a person it means murder … to 86 somebody means murder,” said Morgan, the Hopkinton Republican who was re-elected to a third term on Nov. 6.
While speaking to the press last week, Morgan repeated her call for a boycott of Amigos Taqueria Y Tequila, whose owner, Wendy Carr, reportedly organized several left-wing events following Trump’s victory in 2016.
Morgan argues that “to 86” someone means to murder them and Trump is the 45th President of the United States.
When paired together, it appears that the staff were endorsing the idea of Trump being killed.
Below is an image of the t-shirts and staff wearing them:
Carr has denied Morgan’s assertion, and instead argued that it’s a restaurant term used when menu items are no longer available.

“It’s restaurant language … in this case it means impeach,” Carr said.
“It’s important to look at the shirts within the context of the night. It was a political night, Election Night,” Carr added, which leads more people to believe the shirts had a direct political message.
Carr even said she was “trying to build community based on shared values” and encourage political action.
“I want people to know they were wearing those shirts and there should be repercussions,” Morgan wrote in a Facebook post. “I’ve been there before. I used to like it but I won’t be going back again.”
Sadly, Democrats and media figures have normalized such language and continue to make violent comments about Trump and Republicans.
MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace compared White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to a terrorist and questioned why no one has choked her at the podium.
Hillary Clinton said earlier this month that Democrats can only become civil with Republicans if they retake Congress in November’s midterm elections.
Former Attorney General Eric Holder said last week that Democrats should “kick” Republicans.
When asked over the summer about Democrats defeating Trump, CNN contributor Laurence Tribe said: “If you’re going to shoot him, you have to shoot to kill.”
In 2015, self-described GOP strategist Rick Wilson told MSNBC host Chris Hayes that people have to “go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump.”
Last summer, a supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders shot GOP Rep. Steve Scalise and attempting to gun down a group of Republicans during a baseball practice last summer?
If anything, the Democratic Party is responsible for stoking violence and tension across the country.
